Locating the Extension Requests

  1. Log in to your ALF account

  2. Navigate to the Projects tab

  3. Look for the Alerts column in the projects list

  4. Projects with pending extension management requests will display a flag icon

Accessing the Project

You can access the project in two ways:

  • Click directly on the flag icon next to the project name

  • Click the project view button in the far right corner of the project row

Reviewing the Extension Request

  1. Within the project view, navigate to the Takedown Schedule tab

  2. Dates with submitted change requests will be highlighted in blue

  3. Under the Change Request column for that date, you'll see a "Review" button

  4. Click the "Review" button to open the extension request details

Making a Decision

In the extension request window:

  1. Review all details of the extension request

  2. Important: Add a note from the capital partner in the provided field

  3. Choose one of the following actions:

    • Accept: Approve the extension request

    • Reject: Deny the extension request

What Happens Next

  • If you accept the request, it will be forwarded to the capital partner for final review

  • If you reject the request, the builder will be notified and given the opportunity to resubmit with revised information

Workflow Note

The NLF team serves as an "internal review" to evaluate and accept extension requests submitted by division users before the capital partner reviews them. The NLF team also has the ability to approve extension requests on behalf of the capital partner as ‘proxy’!
